About Us
History tells us that Doughtys have practised in Ayton for over 150 years offering a variety of legal services to individuals and businesses in the area.
A reorganisation and rebranding of Doughtys took place in January 2006 with Sheila Stoddart, senior partner, in overall control of all matters.
Marina Kerr started with Doughtys in 2011.
Alastair Worters joined the firm in April 2010 to expand the property department and offer advice on all property matters aswell as planning and construction advice.
The firm is a member of the Borders Solicitors Property Centre (www.bspc.co.uk) through which all our property particulars can be accessed, viewed and downloaded.
